Who looks after your details

This website belongs to The Wine Wanderluster, run by Ritzau-Lange Ltd. from 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB, United Kingdom. Ritzau-Lange decides how your details are used, so they are the "controller" under UK data protection law. You reach them through the contact page or on +44 (0)20 4634 2133.

What the site collects

When you send an enquiry you give your name and email address, and you can add a phone number, the experience you are interested in, a date, the size of your group and a message. The site also records the time you sent it and the internet address it came from, which helps to stop spam.

The site does not ask for payment details, and it does not run advertising or tracking cookies.

Why Ritzau-Lange Ltd uses them

Ritzau-Lange Ltd uses your details to reply to you, to answer your questions and to plan an experience you ask about. If you book, they use them to arrange the day with you. The legal basis is their legitimate interest in answering people who contact them, and, once you decide to book, taking the steps needed before a contract with you.

Your details are never sold, and Ritzau-Lange Ltd will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask them to.

Where they are kept

Your enquiry arrives by email and a copy is kept in a private file on the website's hosting in the UK, which nobody can open from the web. If you book through an experience platform instead, that platform also holds your details under its own privacy notice.

How long they are kept

Ritzau-Lange Ltd keeps enquiries for as long as they need them to reply and to arrange any experience you book, and then deletes them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details Ritzau-Lange Ltd holds about you, to have them corrected or deleted, or for them to stop using them. Send your request through the contact page and they will answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies of its own. It stores one small note in your browser for the length of your visit, so the opening animation on the homepage plays only once.

The map on the contact page comes from OpenStreetMap and only loads when you press “Show the map”. OpenStreetMap’s privacy policy is at osmfoundation.org.

Changes to this notice

If the way the site uses your details changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
